Lavender has been used for over 2,500 years. First it was used by the Egyptians as a perfume and later it was discovered to have many other benefits. 
 
Lavender oil in aroma therapy is purported to have many healing effects included, but not limited to:

To mix a strong enough fragrance most scents require between 0.5ml and 1ml per 60ml bottle of sanitizer.  Each bottle of essential oil can be used on its own or will make between 10 -20 bottles of scented sanitizer if used alone.
